1. Single Purpose Design

Google Link Harvester is built with a single purpose: to help users extract links from search results. We do not include any secondary features that track user behavior or browse history across other sites.

2. No Data Collection

The extension does not collect, transmit, or sell any user data. All operations happen entirely within your local browser environment.

  • No collection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
  • No tracking of browsing history.
  • No server-side storage of your search queries.

3. Local Storage Only

Any links you harvest are stored temporarily in your browser's local storage so that you can copy or download them. This data stays on your machine and is cleared when you choose or when the extension is uninstalled.

4. Necessary Permissions

We use only the minimum permissions required to function:

  • Scripting/Host Permission: To read the link titles and URLs on Google search pages.
  • Tabs: To manage the background harvesting process.
  • Storage: To save your harvest results locally.
